10.25.17 - Classification Talk by Troy Oliver
We, here at Gateway Rotary, are fortunate because we have interesting and diverse Club members. After listening to new  member and North Thurston Public Schools Assistant Superintendent, we can add king to our membership—1985 homecoming king that is!

That is the honor was bestowed on Troy while attending, and being an all-around athlete, at Lynwood High School. After his post secondary schooling at Whitworth College, he served as a teacher, coach and, later assistant principal for a time in the Mead School District in Spokane, before joining North Thurston Public Schools. He spent time at Komachin Middle School, before becoming the current Executive Director and Assistant Superintendent, overseeing the District’s school principals. A proud father, Troy has two boys who are both River Ridge High School alumni and soon to both be WWU alumni, and three stepchildren (from his wife Terry). His goldendoodle Jack has replaced the kids and is the focal point of the family (LOL). If you don’t see him holding raffle drawing tickets this year, don’t be too hard on the man who will have two weddings coming up in the new year!

Welcome to Gateway Rotary Troy!
